Can you explain what you mean by "master rule"? 2007 does not have a routing group master, so you dont have to worry about that. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905(EXCHG.80).aspx How to Remove the Last Legacy Exchange Server from an Organization

You mean the DC that holds the FSMO roles? Its not recommended to install Exchange on a DC. If Exchange 2003 is installed on a DC now, do not run DCPROMO on that server to demote it until you have removed Exchange. I think you need to be clearer what you are doing so we can help you.

Are you asking how to reassign the Recipient Update Service? http://www.petri.co.il/decommission-exchange-2003-servers-exchange-2007-upgrade.htm I don't think anyone knows what you mean when you say "master rule". --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
